π Read, Play, Create β Sensory Reading Classes A playful introduction to books for babies & toddlers Read, Play, Create sessions bring stories to life through sensory play, movement, music and imagination. Each session is inspired by a much-loved childrenβs book and designed to help little ones develop a love of reading β without pressure, expectations or sitting still. These sessions are relaxed, welcoming and led at your childβs pace π πΆ Is this right for my child? Yes β if your child is aged 6 months to 5 years. β Babies, toddlers and confident pre-schoolers are all welcome β No need to sit still or join in with everything β Perfect for shy, busy or curious children β Parents and carers stay and take part together β Messy play is encouraged (and wipes are provided!) Every child engages differently β watching, exploring, copying or diving straight in. All of it is learning. π What happens in a session? Each session includes: A gentle, interactive story time Sensory play stations linked to the book Opportunities for movement, imagination and exploration A calm, friendly atmosphere where children can be themselves Youβre free to move around, repeat activities or take a break whenever your child needs it. Plus, enjoy some social time after the session for parents and carers to relax, chat, and unwind over refreshing beverages and tasty snacks. Join us as we step into the magical world of The Gruffalo and bring this much-loved story to life through imaginative sensory play.
During this special Read, Play, Create session, little ones will explore the deep dark wood through a range of hands-on play stations inspired by the story. Children can scoop, pour, dig, discover woodland creatures and retell the adventure as they play.
Story-led sensory play helps children develop language, imagination and confidence, as they explore new words, characters and ideas in a playful, engaging way.
